Govt Polytechnic Aboi offers skill development training programs under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) and Prime Minister Vishwakarma (PMVK) schemes of the Government of India with an aim to provide industry-relevant training to the youth, enhancing their employability and promoting entrepreneurship.

Trainings in job roles such as Carpentry, Electrician, Masonry and Basket weaving have been conducted so far. More than 100 trainees have been certified till date.
